Black bodies raped and molested.
Black bodies stabbed and suffocated.
Black bodies murdered.
Black bodies dead
All on social media. All at the swipe of a finger. All for the eyes of millions to glaze over and become desensitized to. How many other races have to see people that look like them killed over and over again? A black woman shot between a video of a talking bird and the newest Tiktok dance.
We’re expected to be strong enough to forgive.
We’re expected to get over it and move on.
We’re expected to protest peacefully, not talk back, and not resist.
